Check us out on Seven Sharp!
We were visited on Tuesday by well known chef Al Brown and the Seven Sharp camera crew. Click on this link and skip through to 17:15 to see their segment on us. What a good looking bunch!
Kia Ora Rm 23 I really enjoyed the segment you guys had on Seven Sharp. It was great to see how you guys handled the pressure of being on national television and to see you were all smiling and being happy. Ka Pai.
I really liked they way you guys were so clear when you talked and weren’t shying away from the cameras. That must’ve taken a lot of guts because you knew you were putting something up for 4.5 million New Zealanders to see. You guys were also really good cooks. I would like to know though if you practised your dish anytime before the cameras started rolling.
Once more congratulations on a great segment and best wishes for the future.
I really enjoyed watching the Seven Sharp video about cooking your home grown produce. I think it was really cool that you got the chance to be on tv and some of you even got an interview, and met Al Brown!
You looked like good cooks as well! Im sure the food was yum! Were you nervous before filming? I know I would be! It was a good segment, and you all looked very professional about being on television!
Kia ora Room 23 It’s really cool that you got to be on Seven Sharp. You are all famous. If it was me I would probably be really nervous, were you guys?
Your garden is pretty big with lots of kai. Was the food yummy? It looked like it. Your aprons looked pretty cool. Did you get to keep them?
You did a really good job and you didn’t even look nervous. Are you celebrating Matariki? Our school is making kites and we have big banners hanging around the school.
Kia Ora Room 23 I think that it's really cool that you got to be on Seven Sharp. I don't understand how you can do all that without being shy or anything. It was almost as if you are professionals. If that was me I wouldn't be as good as you.
It was very interesting and fun to watch. You were very clear and just amazing although I do think that maybe you could look into the camera a bit more. Then it looks like you’re making contact with everyone who's watching. Anyways thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed watching this video I watched it on seven sharp a few days ago. I was sitting in the lounge and then I heard someone say,’’Owairaka School’’. I knew straight away it was your school.
You are very brave going on their show if I were you I wouldn’t want to go on live television.I liked how you weren’t dodging the cameras and I also liked the look of the food. You could have improved by looking at the camera a bit more.
You did amazing on Seven Sharp, you never even looked nervous. It’s great to see you learning and teaching new things! Al Brown is an amazing chef (but not as good as you guys are).
Had you rehearsed it before Seven Sharp were there? Or was it first time? Either ways the food looked amazing, it actually made me a bit hungry when watching it.
Next time I would recommend not embarrassing Al Brown on national television. I hope you had a lot of fun making this regardless.
I really enjoyed seeing you on seven sharp. It was great to see Al Brown come to your school to support the garden to table. It was funny you told Al Brown what the flower was.
It’s great to see your school in a garden. I enjoy working in the garden with my grandparents, and eating the fresh food.
How long has your school had those chickens I really liked the color of the chickens What was it like to be on national television?
Kia Room 23 You are pretty lucky to be on Seven sharp. The apple crumble looks really yummy, I wish I was there to try some. I have been on news before about 2 years ago when some All blacks came to the West Coast. We did some courses it was really fun.
Next time you should make a pumpkin soup for a starter because it gets your taste buds zinging.
