Hami S has made us all proud with his efforts this week. Last year Hami fundraised $50 by selling greeting cards at school. With the money he earned, Hami bought 48 handballs to share amongst the Kauri and Puriri classes. What an awesome gesture!! Hami, your efforts set an amazing example to us all. Tino pai to mahi - great work.

ReplyDeleteI really liked the way Hami has demonstrated manaakitanga. I would also like to send him a challenge... in our classroom we have set the year long goal of every student being able to juggle. I would like to see a video later in the year showing Hami and his friends juggling some of those handballs. How about it Hami?
Thank you Hami. That was a really nice thing for you to do.

ReplyDeleteHI Hami S
ReplyDeleteI liked how you raised all that money to buy those handballs. You put so much effort into selling all those greeting cards. If you did more things like this you will probably get very high ranked in life.
You are great role model to the younger children and also the older.
Good job

Thanks so much for the kind words Fin!
DeleteHi Hami
ReplyDeleteI really liked how you are giving back to your school. I bet they are very happy of your contribute to the school. You have put so much effort into making the greeting cards. How much was one of the handballs ?
I have a handball as well they are really fun. I bounce them as high as I can then try to catch them. I bet you have helped the school’s younger children interact with each other. I hope you will fundraise for a wider community as well as your school.
Great job fundraising you are a good role model to your school.

ReplyDeleteI really liked the way you raised fifty dollars from selling greeting cards and spent that money on forty eight handballs and shared it with the Puriri and Kauri classes.
I really enjoyed reading about you and the good thing you did with the raising money for the handballs. I hope you keep on doing good things around your school.
This reminds me when our school made 100 paper cranes to help with this little girl lssy who had cancer. She went to our school.
Gage

ReplyDeleteBonjour, Well done Hami, you are a kind and generous young man. Raising fifty dollars is something I don’t think I can do. Your job reminds me that every year we raise money at school for Caritas. Next time you should raise a hundred and you will be a legend.
ReplyDeleteKia ora my name is Lexie, you did a really good job, I don't have any tips because you did a good deed, keep up the good work, I have a good question for you, would you do something like this again?
ReplyDeleteKiaora Room 23 I really liked the way that you had raised 50 dollars. Next time you could tell more about what happened?
